Thompson, Iroquois School Leaders to Make Announcement About Youth Substance Use Prevention Efforts

Lawrence Park, Wesleyville communities unite
to combat substance abuse

LAWRENCE PARK TOWNSHIP, Pa.  U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson will visit Iroquois Elementary School on Friday to make an announcement about a community coalition aimed at preventing youth substance abuse.

Rep. Thompson will join:

Iroquois School District Superintendent Shane Murray

Grant Program Director, Maria Modzelewski

Coalition Team Member, John Comstock,who is Supervisor of Erie County Office of Drug and Alcohol Abuse

School leaders, elected officials, community leaders, representatives from faith-based organizations, parents, teachers and students are expected to join the announcement, which will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Iroquois Elementary School’s LGI Room.
