Attention IES families: Due to tomorrow's weather forecast, we will be moving our end of year Olympics Field Day to Thursday, May 30! We can't wait to see some amazing sportsmanship and teamwork!

Sports physicals for the 2024-2025 school year are at the elementary school on Thursday, May 30th. For your student to play a middle school sport next year they must have a PIAA physical on file with the school. Physical packets can be turned in tomorrow for your student to receive a FREE sports physical at the Elementary School. You can visit the school's athletics page to print a new CIPPE form.

Thank you to our friends from Widget Financial for surprising our students with ice cream sundaes! This special treat was a celebration for finishing their PSSAs; but, of course, ALL of our students work hard so ice cream (or popsicles) for everyone! We heard so many students say it was the "best day ever!"

Congratulations to Miss Schlee’s class and to Keenan Schlee, from Mrs. Skelton’s group. They entered the Young Writer’s Contest. Students were asked to write a “Ridiculous Saga” in 100 words or less. All of these students were chosen by a team of writers to be published in an anthology by @YoungWritersUSA. So proud of them!




Attention IES families: We are so pleased with student attendance and effort displayed on last week's ELA PSSAs. We know our students have been working hard all year and tomorrow is the next chance they have to showcase just how smart they are on the Math PSSAs. Good evening IES Families! As a reminder, tomorrow students in grades 3 through 6 will begin PSSA testing! To help your children do their best on the assessment, make sure they get a good night's sleep! As always, we will provide a delicious free breakfast at school. IES was excited to host it's annual PSSA Parade! Students in grades Pre-K through 2nd grade gathered in the gym to cheer on the 3rd through 6th grade students as they prepare for the PSSAs next week! We were fortunate to have Mr. Trojak's IHS Leadership students and Mr. Ferruggia's student band The Bully Pulpits in attendance as well. Today was a great day at IES!
