Iroquois Alumus Dr. Theresa Guise and European Space Agency Scientist Dr. Peter de Maagt spent the day with Mr. MacKelvey's 4th Grade Mathematics and Science classes over Zoom sharing their insight on sharks and tracking them through satellite pings. Dr. Guise even stated, 'We virtually visited this special class of 4th graders who are learning about sharks and following tagged sharks online. These kids are super enthusiastic about shark conservation thanks to their teacher, Mr. MacKelvey, also a diver and ocean lover. The kids knew so much about sharks-We were so impressed! These kids and their teacher are our future and our path to save the ocean. Keep up the great work, Mr. MacKelvey!'
