Program Name: Safety Town 2026
Eligible Participants: Free for all registered Kindergarten students starting in the Fall of 2026.
Dates: June 9 – 12, 2026
Location: Iroquois Elementary School located in Erie, PA.
Daily Sessions: Morning Session: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Afternoon Session: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Purpose and Enrollment
Safety Town is an interactive, hands-on program designed to introduce preschool-aged children to the "rules of the road" before they officially begin school. It covers vital safety topics including street safety, pedestrian awareness, bicycle safety, "stranger danger," and interacting with community emergency helpers. The local initiative is sponsored in cooperation with the Lakeshore Lion's Club and the Lawrence Park Township Police Department
